Raynal Vincent
Description
This stool was handcrafted in France using wood reclaimed from former carpenters. The light, generous ash seat rests on solid oak legs. The high sipo crossbars add a subtle touch of color, while the lower crossbars alternate ash and oak in a balanced dialogue.
A subtle interplay is established between oak and ash, highlighted by the lightness of their hues, punctuated by the rarer and contrasting presence of sipo. The deliberately sober structure lets the material speak, while the visible, metal-free assemblies underline the artisanal character of the piece.
The natural camellia oil finish reveals the wood's grain, provides lasting protection, and offers a silky feel. The wide, welcoming seat gives the stool a presence that is both functional and elegant.
Each copy is unique, stamped and numbered.
