Raynal Vincent
Description
This stool was handcrafted in France using wood carefully reclaimed from former carpenters. The seat is made of oak, supported by sipo legs. The upper crossbars are made of ash, while the lower crossbars combine ash and oak, creating a subtle dialogue between the clarity and depth of the woods.
The visible, metal-free joints are inspired by revisited traditional techniques. The understated structure highlights the precision of the interlocking. Each edge is softened by hand, giving the piece a subtle harmony, far from industrial rigidity.
The finish is made with natural camellia oil, which reveals the grain of the wood, provides lasting protection for the material and provides a silky feel.
Versatile, this stool can be used as a seat, small bench, display stand or side table.
Each copy is unique, stamped and numbered.
