This stool was handcrafted in France before 2022 from wood carefully reclaimed from former carpenters. The sipo seat and legs form a dense, warm base, supported by high crossbars in ash and oak, and low crossbars combining ash, oak, and sipo.

A play of contrasts is established between the oak and the ash, contrasting in their hues and textures. The assemblies, visible and without metal, take up revisited traditional techniques. In the lower part, the dovetails are locked by wedges themselves held by small pegs, subtle details that testify to the precision of the craftsmanship.

Each edge is softened by hand, reinforcing the harmony of the whole, while the natural camellia oil finish reveals the grain of the wood and offers a silky touch.

This stool can be used as a seat, side table, or display stand. Its understated silhouette highlights the balance between strength and finesse, tradition and modernity.
