This stool was handcrafted in France using wood carefully reclaimed from former carpenters. The sipo seat rests on oak legs, while the upper crossbars are made of ash. In the lower section, ash, sipo, and oak complement each other in a play of subtle contrasts, enhanced by the presence of visible wedges and dowels.

The visible, metal-free assemblies are inspired by revisited traditional techniques. The structure highlights the meeting of species, and each crosspiece, sculpted and worked with a knife, bears the mark of the artisanal gesture. Each edge is softened by hand, giving the whole a natural harmony, far from industrial rigidity.

The finish is made with natural camellia oil, which reveals the grain of the wood, provides lasting protection and offers a silky feel.

Designed to last, this stool can be used as a seat, small bench, side table or display stand.
